The Cha-Am and Hua Hin areas feature many culturally unique attractions including the King Rama VI teak wood
'Summer Place' and other historical sites, international championship golf courses and a variety of national parks.
This beachfront town is fit for a king. With a royal retreat close by, Klai Kangwon Palace, beautiful beaches and
enchanting tiny fishing communities, you will be captured by the charm of this seaside town. Located approximately
163 kilometers south of Bangkok, 40 kilometers south of Phetchaburi and 20 kilometers north of Hua Hin,
the beach is famous for being long and clean.

The town of Cha-Am is steeped in history. It was here that one of Ayutthaya’s greatest kings sojourned with his troops, dismounting to admire the view and clean their riding saddles - hence the resort’s name - derived from
the Thai word Cha-Am, or ‘the saddle’.
