Phra Ratchaniwet Marukkhathayawan
This palace is located between Cha-Am and Hua Hin; 10 minutes drive from the hotel. The palace is noted for two-storey teak wood pavilions facing the sea, and is referred to as “the palace of love and hope”.
Now the palace is taken care of by the Border Patrol Police Headquarters and is open to all travelers.

Khao Wang
The Khao Wang Palace is approximately 45 kilometers from the resort. This hill in the vicinity of Amphoe Muang is 92 meters high. King Mongkut was very fond of Khao Wang so he commanded a palace built on top of it in the year 1860 to be used for vacationing; he named it Phra Nakhon Khiri. However, Petchaburi inhabitants have called it “Khao Wang”
until now.

At present, Khao Wang is established as Phra Nakorn Khiri Historical Park , open everyday from 08.30-16.30 hrs. Some parts of the complex on
the western mountain space top are altered into Phra Nakorn Khiri National Museum, open to the public from 09.00-16.00 hrs.
everyday except Monday and Tuesday. To go up Khao Wang,
one can either walk up or take a cable car.

Klai Kangwon Palace
Klai Kangwon Palace stands by the sea in the Hua-Hin District of Prachuap Kirikhan Province. King Prajakhipok (Rama VII) had graciously to build it as a summer palace for Queen Rambai Barni by using money from
the Privy Purse. He ordered Prince Iddhidehsarn Kridakara, an architectural graduate from the Ecole Des Beaux Arts in France and the director of
the Department of Fine Arts, to design and supervise the palace constructed. Preparation of the site began on October 1926.
On September 21, 1927 a royal mansion and other building were constructed. H.M. King Bhumibol and H.M. Queen Sirikit with their entouratge move from Chittralada Villa, Bangkok to stay at Klai Kangwon Palace during their doing the royal activities at Prachuap Kirikhan Province and the vicinity provinces.

 



 

Khao Takiab Temple and view point
Khao Takiab or "Chopstick Mount" is a large mount sticking out of the sea. It is located south of the town of Hua Hin. The visit to the hill and temple is made easy by the construction of a road which goes up and down one way. The Khao Takiab Hill is 272m high. From there you are offered the incredibly picturesque panorama of Hua Hin coast.

Phra Pathom Chedi
On coming towards the city, the first glimpse of towering Phra Pathom Chedi is overpowering. It is one of the largest Chedis in the world and
in Thailand , by far the most holy of all Buddhist structures. Reaching to the sky for just half an inch less than 380 feet, the dome shines like
pure gold in sunlight.

Wat Mahathat Worawihan
Distance approx 45 km. This ancient temple is on the west bank of Petchburi river, the attraction here is the brick and cement Five-Pinnacle stupa, molded status in the royal Vihara and Ubosoths. The superior
skill of the Petchburi craftsman is rarely matched and status are caricatures of the world politics in each period.

The Wat Yai Suwannaram Temple
Distance approx 45 km. Another important temple in the town, Wat Yai Suwannaram is situated 1 kilometer east of the city hall. The temple, featuring a windowless main shrine hall, houses magnificent 300-year-old murals of mythical angels. Its Sala Kanprian (multi-purpose hall) which was once located in Ayutthaya 's Grand Palace , was entirely built of teakwood and decorated with fine woodwork especially at the door panels.
There is also a preaching throne with magnificently elaborated Bangkok style woodcarvings and gold gilt works located in the hall.

Wat Kam Pang Lang
The cave is located approximately five kilometers from Khao Wang.
Smaller in size, the cave is regarded as the largest and most important
in the province. This is due to the fact that it houses a Buddha image cast under the royal command of King Rama V as a dedication to King Rama III and King Rama IV. At the foot of Khao Luang Hill, a large monastery locally known as Wat Tham Klaep or Wat Bun-thawi is located. Attractions within the compound are a large multi-purpose hall and a chapel laden with beautifully carved door panels.

Wat Huay Mong Kol
“Wat Huay Mong Kol” is a Buddhist monastery where the world largest sculpture like of His Reverend Luang Poh Tuad is situated. The event which has long been most respectful and well known by people in Southern Thailand “Luang Pho Tuad” is the supernatural power,
(Stepping on sea water which subsequently turned to be fresh water).
In addition, at this Temple, there is a wood carving image of
Luang Pho Tuad made out of a large aging iron wood imbedded ore than 10 meters underneath sand basin of Yom River in Phrae Province over
one thousand years ago.

Wat Tham Khao Yoi
This cave is located on Khao Yoi Hill, Amphoe Khao Yoi, 22 kilometers from the township. Buddha images of various attitudes are housed in the cave. Khao Yoi Cave was the place where King Mongkut practiced meditation while he was in the monk hood.

 



 

Khlong Khao Daeng
A 4 km canal trip. It is a great way to spent an hour or so. It is a good way to stay cool in the evening, or a great place to see birds early in
the morning. The scenery is breathtaking and you may spot a monitor lizard out for a swim or some monkeys swinging through the branches.

Kaeng Krachan Natural Park & Dam
This dam is located in Krang Krachan Natural Park, Amphoe Tha Yang, 53.5 kilometers from Petchaburi township. One can go two ways:
First is to travel to Amphoe Tha Yang; then 30 kilometers beyond
Tha Yang is the dam site. Another way is to travel by Highway No. 4 where a right turn is made between Km. 186th-187th; go 30 kilometers more. Kaeng Krachan Dam was completed in 1966. It is 58 meters high; the top is 760 meters long, and eight meters wide. The widest part of the base is 250 meters.

Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park
This park is located in the vicinity of Amphoe Kui Buri between Km. 287 th ; a 14 kilometers road branches off on the left. It occupies an area of 61,300 rai (about 24,520 acres) and was designated as a national park
on June 28th, 1966. The geographical characteristics of the park consists of high limestone mountains, a wide prairie near the seashore, and islands. In addition, it is also the center of various species and families of plants and trees as well as the home of wild animals including over 100 species
of wild birds for all animal lovers and birdwatchers. There are also three caves that are worth visiting in the compound of the park.

Khao Hin Lak Fi
Definitely a vantage point to see the whole town of Hua Hin , the hill is located approximately 3 kilometers west of the town. The best time to see the city is in the early morning.

Pa La-uu Waterfall
The Pa La-Uu Waterfall is inland closer to Thai-Burmese boarder.
As part of Kaeng Krachan National Park, the nine cascades waterfall
is still hold some natural pristine.

Rafting at Petchaburi River
Distance approx 35 km. Explore the lush tropical rain forest on a raft drifting along the river. Enjoy bird watching, varied butterflies, wildlife and local life along the river.
